Xbox 360 Preview Program members just received a new update Tuesday that allows them to send a digital gift cards to others. The natural question to emerge from this announcement is, “what about the Xbox One?” Director of Programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb posted on his blog. The ability to send a digital gift card to friends is currently only available in the United States, Canada, France, Gemany, and the United Kingdom....
You might read that headline and think, “Wait, it doesn’t already have that?” Nope. Keyboard and mouse support is currently not a part of Xbox Cloud Gaming, which streams games to mobile devices and PCs. It’s also how Xbox Series X games are playable on Xbox One. Only controller and touch-screen options are available for those without a console, but that’s going to change. Microsoft has announced its earnings for the last quarter ended June 30, 2015 and Xbox One shipments and first party games sales are up this year. From the last quarter, Microsoft managed to ship collectively 1.4 million Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. This is an increase of 30 percent compared to the same quarter from 2014. They only shipped 1.1 million consoles in the prior year. In the report, most of the success is thanks to Microsoft dropping the Kinect from the Xbox One....

According to IHS, Xbox One has sold 39.5 million units worldwide, an estimate which is slightly higher than the ones slipped previously thanks to Electronic Arts internal data.
