Xbox One backwards compatibility received a double dose of side-scolling action Wednesday. Support for Ubisoft’s Outland and Sega’s Gunstar Heroes was added to the console’s backwards compatibility list. Outland is a mash-up of ideas from several different games set in a side-scrolling platformer. You’ll spot Ikaruga’s use of color polarity to solve puzzles and defeat enemies along with the map exploration from the classic Metroid and Castlevania games. It is a more thoughtful platformer with some pretty visuals that earned it an average review score of 84 on Metacritic....

Upping the ante on the bezel-less game, Xiaomi yesterday announced the successor to the Mi Mix 2S. The Mi Mix 3 uses a sliding mechanism which veils the selfie camera and allows for a larger screen-to-body ratio compared to the predecessor.
