The Xbox 20th Anniversary Livestream offered viewers their first glimpse of the upcoming live-action adaption of the Halo series for Paramount+. A teaser gave fans a taste of what Pablo Schreiber will look like as the Master Chief. Appropriately, his face is never shown, but viewers do get to witness his bare back full of scars. The short teaser also gave viewers a brief look at the Master Chief’s armor in live-action, showing off the gloves and ending with a shot of the iconic Spartan mask....

Stephen Elop, the former head of Nokia will take over as the head of Microsoft’s Devices and Studios division. Elop will lead the Xbox and game development studios that make first party games for the Xbox One. Julie Larson-Green, who had assumed the role for Don Mattrick in the wake of his transition to Zynga has moved to another role in the company. As the leader of Devices and Studios for the past 7-months, Larson-Green launched the Xbox One, and multiple first-party games from Microsoft Game Studios....

Everything Microsoft Announced for Xbox at E3 2018. Microsoft will be the first major platform holder to deliver their press briefing for E3 2018. It’s not entirely clear what we can expect from Microsoft at this E3. The Xbox leadership has been vocal that this year will be a big year for the console and that over 15 world premieres will take place during the show. Microsoft has announced the new Games with Gold entries for February 2015. Microsoft has revealed their newest console, the Xbox One X. The console is set to arrive on November 7th, 2017. Formerly known as the Xbox Scorpio, the Xbox One X is slated to be the most powerful console on the market with true 4K gaming. The technical specifications carry forward from the console’s reveal earlier this year. Microsoft claims that the Xbox One X is 40% more powerful than any other console on the market....

If a new rumor is to be believed, Microsoft’s next console is not looking too different from a PC, with access to Steam and Epic Games Store incoming. We already know that the specs of this console look to help bridge the gap between consoles and PC’s, but now the capabilities of the machine and the content it can access seem to be doing that as well. A rumor that appears to stem from Italian site Game Experience claims that the new console will allow players to access these gaming platforms that, until now, have existed purely on PCs....

Winterfest has arrived in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 and it has brought the new SGT Winter NPC to the game. Players will need to know this NPC’s location to complete all the new challenges and quests. There is no permanent spawn location for SGT Winter, but he is most commonly found strolling in a truck on the road north of Logjam Lumberyard.
