How to Unlock Raw Zoisite in Final Fantasy XIV

Final Fantasy XIV adds numerous new features for players to explore thanks to the latest patch. There are some prerequisites, however. In the case of Raw Zoisite and some other materials, you have to unlock it before you can find it.

So, just how do you unlock Raw Zoisite in Final Fantasy XIV? Well, you must find the book dubbed the “Tome of Geological Folklore – Ilsabard and the Northern Empty”.

There’s not much to acquiring this though. Head to Radz-at-Han (X: 11.3, Y: 9) and speak to the Splendors Vendor. They will sell this to you for 16 Regional Folklore Trader’s Token C. You can buy those from numerous vendors using Gatherer’s Scrip, which you can get when you trade Collectibles.

Where to Find Raw Zoisite in Final Fantasy XIV

To find Raw Zoisite, head to Garlemald. More specifically, it’s found in the Legendary Rocky Outcrop. As it is a Level 90 mining node, you must have a large amount of Perception to get it. In fact, you will need a minimum of 3,625 Perception.

Note though that you cannot just quarry Raw Zoisite whenever you please in Final Fantasy XIV. Instead, this only appears incrementally for a limited time. It will only appear from 6 A.M. to 8 A.M. Eorzean Time and then from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Eorzean Time.

Don’t worry about tracking it down since whenever it does appear, it will show up on your minimap. Just keep an eye on your map around those timeframes to see when you can quarry it.

When you have Raw Zoisite, you can put it toward crafting the stone Zoisite. The entire recipe is found below:
