Like any other gem, you can get Sapphires in Disney Dreamlight Valley by destroying black Rock Spots with your pickaxe. But unlike other Gems, you won’t be able to find Sapphires in any superficial location, as you have to search much deeper. You must visit the Sunlit Plateau biome and descend to the new Vitalys Mine. If you still haven’t unlocked Sunlit Plateau, you can do so right now by spending 7,000 Dreamlight.

You see wooden pillars at the entrance to Vitalys Mine, so it’s not hard to spot. When starting to go down inside, you will notice several black Rock Spots almost immediately. Digging Rock Spots will give you some Coal, other Gems, and a chance to get Sapphires. But if you see a blue glow or crystal in Rock Spots, breaking it will give you Sapphires with a 100% probability.
