90 Day Fiancé Fans believe Liz Woods’ low self-esteem is why she keeps taking Big Ed back. For fans who have followed their relationship from the beginning, the two are an obvious mismatch, and their relationship is one of the most toxic in the series. Ed and Liz began their relationship during season 1 of 90 Day: The Single Life. Unfortunately, the couple confirmed their split when they appeared in that season’s Tell-All episode. After a short breakup that saw Ed attempt to find love in Mexico, the two got back together in season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life. Barely a month after rekindling their romance, the duo stunned fans as Liz was spotted wearing an engagement ring while clubbing with Big Ed.

Following their engagement, the couple featured in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? The season showed how the couple received pushback from their friends and family over their engagement. However, the most interesting angle was the October 2022 episode that showed the couple getting into a nasty fight after their party. Big Ed had accused Liz of dating a female co-worker in the past, and the fight led to the former throwing her ring into the bush. Their relationship made it to the end of the season still intact, but they split again before the season 7 Tell-All.

During the Tell-All, Liz accused Big Ed of throwing her out of his house and claimed she lost respect for him because of his constant lies. Fans who thought it was finally over were shocked when Liz was spotted donning a new engagement ring back in December while posing in a selfie alongside Big Ed’s mum. Liz shared the pic with the caption, “Babe surprised me with a new band.“

Fans Believe Liz Always Takes Big Ed Back Because of Low Self-Esteem

Liz has endured a turbulent time since her relationship with Big Ed started. The latter continually berates and gaslights Liz while also refusing to take responsibility for his misdeeds. The two have been engaged twice in just about a year, and it does not look like the duo will tie the knot anytime soon.

Meanwhile, some 90 Day Fiancé fans expressed their disappointment in Liz and blasted her decision to remain in the relationship with Big Ed. Fans want Liz to leave Big Ed — at least for the well-being of her mental health. However, Liz seems to believe there is light at the end of the tunnel for their relationship. For now, the saga continues!
