There’s a few steps to enabling console commands in Witcher 3, as they’re not turned on by default.

  • Go to Windows Explorer and navigate to your Witcher 3 folder. In Steam, this will be under the folder 292030 in your SteamApps folder. Select the following folder path: bin/config/base Open up the file called general.ini with a simple text editor like Notepad Add a new line to the bottom of the file that reads DBGConsoleOn=true Save and close the file and launch Witcher 3. Open the Console by pressing @, #, or F2. This depends on your control configuration and version.
