World of Warcraft, the Open-World RPG, is finally in its 18th year, and we couldn’t be more excited about the Anniversary Event! Each year, World of Warcraft runs an event for three weeks around its anniversary, and it’s finally time for this year’s annual event. However, this year, the event is running at the same time as Darkmoon Faire, which means that there will be a huge XP and reputation gain boost as well! There will also be a Celebration package! World of Warcraft 18th Anniversary Event
Rewards For Participating in the World of Warcraft 18th Anniversary Event
During the event, every player who logs in to World of Warcraft, the open-world RPG, will receive an Gift Package containing the following:
- 200 Timewarped Badges
- 1 Celebration Package
- Boosts experience and Reputation gains by 18% for the duration of the event
- Invitation from the Timewalkers
- Begins a new quest that will either take you to Orgrimmar or Stormwind
Timewalking Vendor during the World of Warcraft 18th Anniversary Event
This year the Timewalking Anniversary Event Vendor is Historian Ma’di. She brings back items from previous Anniversary Events, all to be purchased with Timewarped Badges. Below is a list of the items that will be available:

You can find Doomwalker at Tenaris, near the entrance of the Caverns of Time. Every day during the anniversary event, you can kill Doomwalker for loot and Timewarped Badges. Though, he will always drop a Doomwalker Trophy Stand and Illidary Doomhawk. However, you must be at least level 30 to receive loot from this boss.
Illidary Doomhawk Mount
Every week, you have a chance to obtain the Illidary Doomhawk mount by completing the Anniversary Event Weekly Quests.
Akama’s Edge
During the World of Warcraft Event, there is a small change for the one-handed axe, Akama’s Edge, to drop when you defeat Doomwalker.
A World of Warcraft Leveling Feature Will Be Removed
