Saber Interactive has revealed the much anticipated World War Z: Aftermath Horde Mode XL update on January 24 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for free. At the same time, Saber shared that the co-op zombie sequel, World War Z: Aftermath, the official launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, will be on January 24. To top it up, World War Z and World War Z: Aftermath will get an update on the same day.

World War Z: Aftermath Horde Mode XL Details

Saber has announced the arrival of the Horde Mode XL update on WWZ: Aftermath exclusively on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 24, 2023. According to a press release containing the information, this mode will follow the same rules as in the standard Horde Mode.

However, this new mode will exhibit a devilish twist. A normal wave of enemies will include a special XL wave holding over 1,000 hungry zombies. Brace up! With such terrifying challenges, you and our team will have a lot on your sleeves.

At the same time, the franchise will be extending the game to more consoles. On January 24, WWZ: Aftermath will appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

You should also note that there will be a free upgrade on the same game for PS4 and Xbox One console owners. Similarly, owners of World War Z and World War Z: Aftermath on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC will get a new update on January 24. This update will introduce mutators into the standard Horde Mode Z mode. Additionally, the update will include more devastating & deadly new weapons and a revamped & improved weapon progression system.

The co-op zombie action game World War Z: Aftermath will get a new Horde Mode XL introducing more scary and devastating challenges.
