Last year, The Nerd Stash published an article titled “December 2021 Video Game Releases to Keep an Eye On.” The article listed multiple games that were getting into 2021 just under the wire. One of those games was Wytchwood. Our article said, “Wytchwood seems like a perfect cozy game to waste away those chilly winter afternoons.” Although it isn’t winter anymore, Wytchwood may still be a perfect cozy game—to add to your physical collection, that is. Today, Super Rare Games announced that Wytchwood is getting a physical Nintendo Switch release next week.
According to today’s press release, Wytchwood is a crafting adventure game with puzzle-solving elements. The protagonist is a witch, and the player can use the witch’s magic abilities to solve puzzles and navigate the world.
The Physical Nintendo Switch Release of Wytchwood Contains Some Exclusive Goodies
Players who want to get their hands on the physical Switch release of Wytchwood have a bit longer to wait.
Each of those 4,000 copies will sell for $36.46. That’s more than you would pay for a digital copy, but the purchase also includes exclusive items.
In addition to next week’s Super Rare Games release, Wytchwood is available digitally on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
