Get ready to rip and tear in a multitude of ways. Microsoft has revealed the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October, including DOOM Eternal, Brütal Legend, and more.
In an announcement on the Xbox Wire, these games will become available for current subscribers of Xbox Game Pass. These games will be available to play on Xbox One consoles, PC, and Android devices via Xbox cloud streaming.
Xbox Game Pass Gets Variety of Titles for October
The titles coming include:
DOOM Eternal – October 1 – Android and Console
Drake Hollow – October 1 – PC
Brütal Legend – October 8 – Console
Forza Motorsport 7 – October 8 – Android, Console, and PC
Ikenfell – October 8 – Consoles and PC
Each of these titles on Xbox Game Pass represents a vast array of gaming genres, from the violent first-person action of DOOM Eternal to a turn-based RPG of magic students in Ikenfell. No matter what you are into, Xbox seems to be covering all bases for the subscription platform in October.
Personally, if you are looking for something new to play on Xbox Game Pass check out Brütal Legend. It’s a mix of an action-adventure game with RTS-style elements, all wrapped around a heavy-metal fantasy world. Developed by Double Fine Productions and starring Jack Black, it is one of the studios’ lesser-known but still equally enjoyable games.
Certain Games Available to Stream on Android Devices
This month also marks a new trend for the platform, with certain games available to stream on the cloud on Android devices. To start that trend with the fast-paced action of DOOM says they must be confident of their new streaming platform.
If you are hoping to use cloud streaming on your iPhone, you’ll, unfortunately, have to wait. Apple and Microsoft are still going at each other about allowing Xbox Game Pass cloud streaming on the Apple ecosystem.
More changes are on the way to the subscription platform. November will bring EA Play to consoles as a part of the Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and will also come to PC in December.
