Microsoft has launched a new hiring campaign in order to improve quantity and quality at the Xbox team working on the next-generation platform, Xbox Scarlett.

The team is indeed seeking into multiple engineers set to work on several aspects of Scarlett, both for what matters storage, as you can see below, and accessories.

The job listing about the storage solutions clearly mentions “Xbox console hardware development team” and “future Xbox design projects.”

On top of that, Microsoft is looking into senior candidates, who would have a relevant spot in the next Xbox dev team.

“We are seeking a qualified candidate for a Senior Engineer to develop storage solutions with the Xbox console hardware development team,” says the job listing.

“Storage solutions include HDD, SSD, and Flash based storage technologies.

The successful candidate will be the primary technical focal point for existing and leading-edge storage technologies on currently shipping and future Xbox design projects.“

The next Xbox is rumored to be coming in two different models, with one of those running on the cloud and the other being a high-specced platform you’ve come to expect with the beginning of each generation.
