It’s part of why I and many others included enjoy indie titles so much, as you never know when you may find the next hidden gem. If you need a good example of that, take one look at the recently released Hades’ success. Regardless, while not to the same scale, Yaga from Versus Evil and Breadcrumbs Interactive may just be the next great game you’re looking for. The best part of all? You can begin playing it on Steam today! Check out the trailer for the latest update below to see what it’s all about.

Yaga tells the grim yet hilarious tale of Ivan, a one-handed blacksmith who’s constantly faced with incredible misfortune. As Ivan, you’re tasked with completing these monumental objectives, all while smashing the faces of monsters with your one-handed hammer in tow. Inspired by great tales of mythology, Yaga tells a dark and exciting tale while throwing some solid humor in here and there to spice things up.
